I’m Hailey, an Athletic Training Major at the University of New England.
I’ve spent the past couple of years working and studying in the sports-orientated world. I spent 1 year working with a Physical Therapist and another 2 with an Athletic Trainer working with athletes, children, adults, and the elderly. I fell in love with Athletics when I was a kid, and it has become a major part of my life. I grew up playing multiple sports such as softball, soccer, volleyball, and basketball. My goal is to become an Athletic Trainer and then a Physical Therapist in the future.
While I’m interested in sports I love cooking, hiking, gardening, and reading. Cooking has always been a favorite pastime that I shared with my mother, we would make anything from breakfast to dinner and even desserts. Hiking and gardening have been special for me because I love the outdoors. I started hiking with my father when I was very young, and I started gardening in Middle School. I take care of multiple plants from indoor pothos to outdoor lilacs and tomatoes of all sorts. I read all sorts of books in my spare time from sports, recipes, poetry, romance, and more. I take pride in my hobbies and how they can put me at ease. I find it very important to have hobbies that you can enjoy to help you decompress from work.
